but a place of invitations—
to breathe, to notice, to listen.
My work lives in the space where trail dust, story, and presence meet.
Where silence becomes a teacher,
and the red earth offers its own kind of guidance.

Nature's Call Back
My journey hasn’t always been rooted in nature.
For years, I walked other trails—screenwriting, filmmaking, drawing, writing stories,
and later, meditation and martial arts.
Nature called me back slowly.
Not through revelation, but through a quiet pull—
a whisper I didn’t fully understand
until life guided me to Sedona.
My grandfather shared calligraphy with me when I was a child.
At the time, I didn’t know what he was planting.
It would take decades for those seeds to take root.
With time, everything I’d explored began to weave together—
the stillness of meditation,
the discipline of movement,
the creativity of storytelling,
and the beauty of visual expression.
What emerged wasn’t a return to any single path,
but a fusion of all of them.
A way of sharing story and presence that feels like home.
That’s how Wild Roots Society took shape—
not suddenly,
but as the quiet echo of a life slowly circling back to what matters.

a quiet space shaped by trail notes, fables, and the small moments gathered in nature.
Here you’ll find self-guided retreats,
fable meditations,
and observation scrolls shaped from the notes I carry home from the trails.

and maybe rediscover something you thought was lost.
This isn’t about striving.

A Quiet Tribute
This work is a quiet tribute to my grandfather,
whose calligraphy and stories shaped me in ways I’m still discovering.
His influence lives in every line I draw,
every scroll I create,
every fable I whisper.
And it is an honor to do this work on the sacred land of Sedona,
whose breathtaking trails are cared for by the dedicated volunteers
of the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund.
